Not hard to use at all...not rocket science. Nice product to aerate the yard while doing other chores in the lawn.

They sink VERY DEEP into the ground. Hard to walk in. They sink so deep they remove themselves from your shoe, I would only suggest wearing boots.

I bought this item a couple of weeks ago. I was hesitant to buy after reading the reviews. Boy, glad I did. I never had any problems with the buckle until last week. Suggestions: Use 1-2 days after rain. If not, clumping occurs. Also with straps loosening: I synched down the straps and tucked them under the buckle and looped it back over again. Became very secure!! I use a pair of old work boots. It seems to do better than old tennis shoes. Pro: Cheap, easy to use, convenient, only [...]. Con: Could use a better buckle system For the price of renting an aerator from Lowes, I'd try the [...]buck sandals; well worth it!!!

I read the reviews after i ordered the sandals but before i received them. I received them yesterday and they were easy to assemble, put on and aerate. I didn't have any of the problems people stated except the strap is too long but can be tucked into your shoe. I'm not sure how well its going to do the lawn, but i have seen several other poking spike type aerating devices so i imagine it should work. After i read the reviews i was sure they wouldnt work so i ordered a turf hound which i have not received yet. But i was very surprised last night that they worked so well.

Unless your lawn is VERY soft, this style of aerator doesn't work at all, regardless of manufacturer.

The reviews that have been submitted for the sandles are true but if you get the sandles to stay on your feet they DO WORK. Since purchasing these i have used them everytime i mow the lawn - it didnt take any longer to do that with the sandles on - just walk normally. The strapping sucks BUT if you get it right they dont come off. My lawn has benefitted greatly from these. Try them and see - they worked for me!
