Toro 51599 Ultra 12 Amp Variable Speed Electric Blower/Vacuum With Metal ImpellerReviewsBlower strength is probably to much. I'm using it on gravel and it blows gravel away on full strength. Only con is that it takes time to switch from vac to blower, and you have to have your vac/blower bits and pieces handy to do that. I purchased this leaf blower/vacuum/mulcher about 3 or 4 years ago after I did a great deal of research into leaf blowers. I have a 50'x250' hill, full of trees, bushes and ground cover and an unbelievable amount of leaves in the fall that need to go somewhere. This blower makes it easy to vacuum and mulch the leaves in one quick process. I generally mulch the leaves a second time and spread them around my plants, thus eliminating having to drag them up the hill to dispose of them. My husband uses the blower function and can quickly clean out around the house. The mulcher is a bit ackward to use and the bag that fits over the sholder is bulky but manageable. I would definately puchase another one. I have had no problems with it and we use it a lot (2 houses, many trees). With this tool it is a pleasure cleaning up the leaves and other debris in AND AROUND my garden hedges and flower beds. The variable speed allows you to "suck or blow" with appropriate power so you don't disturb the bedding material. With a small amount of training and experience you are able to adjust the sholder strap and catch bag to allow access around (and through) your beds and hedges. The mulcher really reduces the trips to the dumpster. (BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVER FILL THE CATCH BAG.) I was very excited about getting a leaf vac that would do gumballs. I emptied the bag 2 times. on the third fill of the bag the motor died. Apparently it does not like gumballs. too late to return. I'll have to check the manufactors warranty. very dissapointing Our back yard is all cement and pool and I bought it to clean leaves, etc off cement. It is too awkward and heavy to use for that. I have to sweep and then vacuum the piles that I sweep up. Average Rating:![]() |

Powerful and effective, the Toro Ultra 3-in-1 Blower, Vacuum, and Leaf Shredder makes completing yard work fun and easy. With air speeds up to 235 mph, this electric blower nevertheless is lighter, quieter, and cleaner than similar gas blowers... |

Toro 51467 8-Inch 12-Volt Cordless Electric TrimmerReviewsRecently purchased a home and needed a trimmer...I was originally going to cheap out and buy a cheaper wired model off of Amazon, however a few friends told me that I should buy a wireless one instead and this was the cheapest one I could find. Don't let the price fool you - this is a great product! Simply unplug from the wall when needed, trim away, then plug back in. It does the job great and couldn't be happier. The only reason I didn't give it 5* is because I haven't replaced the spool yet, so don't know how hard that will be. I had a Toro Trimmer before which just quit working after about 20 years of service. I was looking for a replacement for it and found the qualifing one in the Toro Model 51467. All other Trimmers I checked on did not have what I was looking for: 1. Light, balanced and easy to handle. 2. Long lasting Power, Model 51467 has it. 3. Price, a little over $40.00 4. Free shipping from Amazon. I can go all around the perimeter of my property and also around the perimeter of my home on the same charge. I am more than just happy with this purchase from Amazon. In these times I figured someone made a mistake but it's true. I've used it three times now and my preliminary thoughts are as follows: PROS: Rechargeable, battery has enough power for smaller lawns. Run time is adequate. Not too heavy or bulky. CONS: To me the biggest disadvantage is the 8" length of the trimmer. It can't "reach" far enough. You have to put it very close to the item being trimmed for it to be effective. To edge the grass next to the driveway requires placing the bump feed head on the concrete to get the string close enough. I would choose another trimmer next time but it's not bad for small areas. I'm really puzzled by the reviews. I don't recall any issues with assembly, if I even had to "assemble" it. Seems to me it was almost ready to go right out of the box. I bought it from Amazon, great service as always. The comments about the string are also puzzling. Buy some different string, which you'll have to do anyway as you only get a small amount. Get the CORRECT line and I've never had a problem in 6 summers of heavy use. Of course it's heavy, it has a 12 volt battery in it and a drive motor, that's how it works. What were people expecting? It's still lighter than a gas model. As far as it not having a large enough cutting area, see where it says "7 inch" in the name? THAT is how big of cutting area. If you wanted more you shouldn't have bought a 7 inch model. To me this is the best "yard money" I've spent. No hassling with gas engines, no cords to drag around, lots of power. No complaints at all. **UPDATE** I just picked up a new one. It is MUCH lighter, and snaps together in a minute. Great improvements! Just received it. Tried it twice.. It only has a single line comming out of it. My property is aprox 4000 sq ft sod in Florida. It does Ok for regular grass around trees, steps, etc...BUT THATS IT..PERIOD... Charge holds 15-20 min. for small yard. YES its not GAS, BUT weighs same... Hope this helps... Average Rating:![]() |

Lawn Boy 10640 20-Inch 6.75 GT Briggs & Stratton Gas Powered Lawn Mower (Non-CARB Compliant)ReviewsI was hoping this mower would "start with the first pull" after I got it all set up, but it didn't. In fact pulled half a dozen times with no go, and finally put some starter spray in the air intake and got it started. It did assemble quickly, and appears to be rugged. Good features: saftey cover over exhaust to prevent hand burns from hot exhaust, no blub for priming mower for starts, easy to use handle, wide fat tires, Briggs and Stratton engine. Less than good features: height adjustment is very very very difficult for those with old hands like mine...the spring to adjust the height on the wheels is way too strong...looks like made for a locomotive! There is no "on mower" indication of which way is up or down on the wheel adjustment; grass catcher is difficult to remove and attach. All in all, a fairly nice mower. the company that makes this mower should work on the wheel height thing and the grass catcher assembly to make them easier to use. Great little mower. I have been very pleased with it so far, and it has always started on the first pull for me! Probably the only thing i would change is the handel joint connection. I have to fit it in a small shed and need to fold the handel down every time, and it takes a couple minutes to work the bolts/connectors to the point where i can fold it down. I had shopped reviews online for a number of different push mowers before deciding to go with the Lawn-Boy. We had recently bought a new house with a small back and side yard to maintain. This mower has been great so far(have only used it twice...long term durability remains to be seen). It is easy to operate and maintain, and starts on the first pull every time. Was also eligible for free delivery which made it a no brainer for me at a price between $240-$260. Quick delivery, satisfied buyer. I purchased this lawnmower after a reasonable amount of review reading and research online. We have newly laid sod that had been growing for about a month or so, watering nearly every day. The last mower I used would have needed to cut about three times (granted, it was getting old and we didn't sharpen the blades) to get through the thick grass we have. This cut right through everything. The only minor downside is the needing to overlap enough on the next pass to pick up the grass that was flattened by the wheels on the first pass. Great mower, and I'd recommend it to anyone! The shipment arrived early. The mower is easy to assemble and started on the first try as advertised. The packaging of the mower is bad for shipping. The box was crushed and wet. One of the levers that adjusts wheel height was severely bent so that it only stays in place for one setting. Instead of the trouble involved in returning the mower, I just grabbed some pliers and worked it back into position. Average Rating:![]() |

Toro Super 12 Amp Electric Blower/Vacuum #51591ReviewsLet me keep this short and simple- this sucker blows like a hurricane! It's much more powerful than others I have used. The speed adjustment is handily located. And while I'd never call it "quiet", it's not as loud as less powerful blowers I have owned. I can't comment on the vacuum function as I've never used it. This is an excellent blower. It generates a LOT of wind so be careful where you point it. Sucks great too. The wide nozzle will get stuck to the sidewalk. I despise cheesy tools. This thing isn't. Toro!! Electric of course, no problem, little more power then gas it's size. Would highly recomend. Great Price! Worked great the first season. Second season I was blowing some dirt off my driveway and it started to slow down then I started to smell electrical smoke. Of course, a year later I didn't have my receipt any longer so this turned out to be just a big paper weight. Disappointing for a a Toro product. It works great. Downside is I need a 100' extension cord to reach to the edge of my yard. I found after a while that it is a pain to get out a 100' cord and especially to put it away again. Average Rating:![]() |

Hang on to Toto when you fire this baby up--the air blast out of this blower is phenomenal! The literature says it produces up to a 215 mph current, and they're not kidding. It converts in a few seconds to a vacuum by removing the inlet tube and cover; just hook the front of the vacuum tube on and snap... |
